Michael Weening

President & CEO

Michael was promoted to president and CEO of Calix in September 2022, and was appointed to the Board of Directors in May 2023. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading growth, strategy and transformation to his role as President and CEO. Michael most recently served as the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer since January 2021. Michael joined Calix from Salesforce where he served as the senior vice president of Global Customer Success and senior vice president, Japan and Asia-Pacific Customer Success, Services and Alliances.

Over the span of his career, Michael has held executive positions in North America, Europe and Asia. Previously, Michael held leadership roles at Bell Mobility in Canada, where he was vice president of business and consumer sales. Michael also held sales leadership roles at Microsoft, in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, from Brock University supported by ongoing executive education at Queens, Wharton and USC.

Shane Eleniak serves as the Chief Product Officer at Calix, where he leads the strategic vision and execution of the company’s industry-leading platform and SaaS solutions. With a focus on enabling communications service providers to simplify their business and deliver exceptional subscriber experiences, Shane oversees the entire product lifecycle—from conceptualization to market-leading deployment.

Under his leadership, Calix has solidified its position as a pioneer in the broadband industry, consistently delivering innovative tools that empower providers to compete and win. Shane is recognized for his ability to translate complex technological capabilities into tangible business value, driving growth for both Calix and its global customer base.

Prior to joining Calix, Shane was group vice president of the Advanced Broadband Solutions business unit at CommScope, where he oversaw edge, access, and CPE products. Earlier in his career, he served as executive vice president of marketing and business development for Alloptic where he led all product and commercial operations. Shane also held executive roles in marketing, product management, business development, and engineering at Corrigent Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, and Telus.

Shane earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta.

COO

John Durocher is the chief operations officer at Calix, overseeing customer success, commercial operations, supply chain, IT, sustainability, and partner relations. He brings a proven track record of planning and executing growth initiatives, along with a passion for delivering innovative solutions to customers.

Before joining Calix, John was executive vice president of customer success at Salesforce, where he led global teams focused on helping customers succeed with Salesforce products. Earlier in his career, he spent 17 years with Accenture's financial services practice, building deep expertise in customer relationship management.

John is recognized as a thought leader in customer relationship management (CRM), with multiple published articles and papers featured in industry and academic publications. He has also contributed to the development of software solutions for the financial services Industry and holds several patents that have been deployed globally.

John earned a bachelor’s degree from Clarkson University.

Brad Moline, President and CEO, founded ALLO Communications in 2003 in Imperial, Nebraska. ALLO is a telecommunications company offering both FTTH and off-net services in 53 cities across Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, and Missouri, totaling over 1.4+ million in population. Previously, Moline held several senior positions with organizations across the U.S. before returning home to Nebraska with his wife to raise their family. Among those positions, Moline was the Senior Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and a driving force behind the exponential growth of Birch Telecom, Inc. in Kansas City. From 1994 to 1997 Moline took a large national transportation company public and was retained as a valued board member serving on the audit committee. Moline also serves on the board of his family’s grocery operations in Nebraska and Colorado. He holds a degree in business administration, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska and is formerly a certified public accountant with Ernest & Young.

Brian Stading serves as Chief Executive Officer of Lumos, where he is leading an ambitious growth strategy to expand the company’s 100% Fiber Internet network to more than one million homes over the next five years. Reporting to the Lumos Board of Directors, Brian is focused on disciplined expansion, operational excellence, and delivering differentiated customer experiences through a fiber-first, platform-enabled model. A key component of this strategy is Lumos’ partnership with Calix, leveraging the Calix broadband platform to accelerate market launches, drive operational efficiency, and enhance customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.

Under Brian’s leadership, Lumos formed a transformative joint venture with T-Mobile, combining Lumos’ fiber-to-the-home expertise with T-Mobile’s national brand and customer reach to significantly accelerate fiber expansion. With more than 30 years of telecommunications leadership experience, including senior roles at Ziply Fiber, CenturyLink, and Qwest, Brian has a proven track record of scaling networks and creating shareholder value. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Aurora University and a Master’s degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

SCOTT R. HENDRIX serves as Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel to Tombigbee Electric Power Association (serving 45,728 members in parts of 7 counties) and Tombigbee Fiber, LLC (3,500 miles of fiber passing 54,800 homes & businesses). Tombigbee Fiber is the first cooperative broadband affiliate in Mississippi to serve over 25,000 customers, and one of the first to serve customers outside of its electric certificated territory. Mr. Hendrix is the Vice President and General Counsel to MS Fiber, LLC, a state middle mile network, and is working to bring together other states to form a national coalition for middle mile providers. Mr. Hendrix serves on the national board of the Electric Cooperative Bar Association affiliated with National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (the first CEO to ever serve as such, previously serving as an attorney). Mr. Hendrix is the Vice President and Board Member for Central Service Association, a billing and benefits cooperative, having previously served 18 years as its General Counsel. Mr. Hendrix is a board member for the: 1) Electric Cooperatives of Mississippi, a trade association; 2) North Mississippi Industrial Development Association, an economic development agency; 3) Megapop, a North Mississippi multi-industry middle mile consortium; 4) Pontotoc Mississippi Chamber of Commerce; 5) the Mississippi State Board of Renasant Bank; and 6) the Leadership Advisory Board for Calix. Mr. Hendrix assisted in drafting the Electric Power Association Act and the Broadband Enabling Act of Mississippi.

Mr. Hendrix was the first attorney in Mississippi to serve as counsel for more than one of its 25 electric cooperatives, having served as general counsel to Tombigbee, Monroe County Electric Power Association and North East Electric Power Association as well as regularly assisting Tippah County Electric Power Association. Mr. Hendrix was actively involved in representing these and other cooperatives for as much as twenty-three years, taking part in state and federal litigation and matters pending with the Mississippi Public Service Commission. Mr. Hendrix was also panel litigation counsel for Federated Rural Electric Insurance Company.

Mr. Hendrix graduated from the University of Mississippi with honors, having received his Juris Doctor in 1997 and his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1994. Mr. Hendrix was the Editor in Chief of the Mississippi Law Journal, Vol. 66. He was also named the 2005 Mississippi Young Lawyer of the Year. He has been admitted to practice in all Mississippi state and federal courts, the Fifth and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Hendrix previously focused his practice areas to litigation, banking, utilities and commercial real estate. Mr. Hendrix has written policy, advised boards, defended litigated matters and dealt with all matters relating to cooperatives. He has spoken nationally to the Southeastern Regional Association of Utility Regulators and NRECA/ECBA legal conference. He was the only attorney to take part in the committee that created TVA’s complaint resolution process.

Gavin Keirans serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Blue Stream Fiber, having previously held executive roles as Vice President of Altice USA (Fortune 500 telecom) and Vice President of The Madison Square Garden Company. He also led ROX Strategy, guiding the firm to Inc. 5000 recognition as one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S.

In addition, he has significant management consulting experience from Accenture’s Strategy practice, as well as being a Partner for ROX Strategy, where he led turnaround operations for multiple private equity portfolio companies and publicly traded firms. In 2004, Gavin was named to the Cablefax 100, recognizing top executives in the industry.

He attended Penn State University, where he studied Business with a focus on Management. Outside of work, in addition to spending time with his family, he remains actively involved as a Penn State alumnus and is committed to non-profit community service.

Cory is the chief financial officer at Calix, bringing more than 25 years of experience as a senior financial leader in the technology sector.

Prior to Calix, he was chief financial officer at both Violin Memory and Ikanos Communications, where he led several strategic transactions. Earlier in his career, Cory held various finance positions at EMC Corporation. Before EMC, he was vice president, corporate controller, and principal accounting officer at Legato Systems, which was later acquired by EMC.

Cory earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Georgetown University.
